Mangora ? - Mangora spiculata

Mangora ? - Mangora spiculata
Raleigh, near Rts 50 and US 70, Wake County, North Carolina, USA
September 28, 2009
Size: 3mm
Another spider with transparent cephalothorax. This one I measured accurately as 3mm. Is this a Mangora? No web apparent. What do I need to observe to make the ID?

Yes, Mangora,
and again M. spiculata. The pattern on the abdomen is exactly what you need. Check out the info page for Mangora. The species are pictured there. Nice shot!

Thanks for the ID help and continuing attention
I am trying to inventory my yard at roughly eye level since it is now difficult for me to bend my back or look up for birds anymore. I've been observing trees and flowers all my life; mushrooms, ferns, and mosses are done and don't change, so I have turned my attention in my yard to insects, spiders, and relatives that are large enough to photograph. Aug and Sep was the time to focus on spiders!! I'm sure I'm on the robin, blue jay, chickadee stage so far, but I'm having fun. The fly attacking one of "my" spiders is a mystery I hope someone can solve!
