Florida Woods Cockroach - Eurycotis floridana

Florida Woods Cockroach - Eurycotis floridana
Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida, USA
October 7, 2005
Size: 25mm
Caught this in the house yesterday, chilled for pictures and released today (first time no squish for this family, in the live-and-let-live spirit of BugGuide). I am pretty sure this is Florida Woods Cockroach, based on the broad shape and yellowish thoracic margins. This means the egg case I posted yesterday (below) is likely to be the same species (at least, I sincerely hope I don't have multiple infestations). I can't find a good ootheca image for this species online (this one is all I've found - same as Lynette posted yesterday) - does anyone have a reference for these?
I think this must be a nymph - much smaller than Machele's, and no wing stubs visible.

Nymph
This roach is probably in its 4th molt with one left to go. FL wood roach mymphs have the characteristic yellow side markings on the thorax. Adults lose that feature. Great photo.
