H. bractatus
Thanks, Claude, for moving those images and adding information to the new species page - good stuff!
I see that Michael Schwartz has confirmed several of your IDs. In the past 3 years, Michael promptly responded to both of my ID requests by identifying the bugs
here
and
here
.
There's many more images currently unidentified on the Miridae page but I agree with the comments by Tony Thomas
here
that it would be detrimental to have several 'BugGuiders' requesting IDs from the same authority. Therefore, I'm wondering whether you would like to take on the role of BugGuide's representative for corresponding with Michael Schwartz or other experts in Miridae? Whichever, I think the topic of having a secretary (or secretaries) should be discussed further at BugGuide, preferably in the Forums section. What do you think?

genus is Halticus
not
Haltica
, which was a genus of
flea beetles
(Chrysomelidae), now under the name
Altica
at
nearctica.com
.
I moved the image to the new
Halticus
page
, and deleted the
Haltica
page, which was blank.
