Dagger Moth - Acronicta afflicta

Dagger Moth - Acronicta afflicta
Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA
October 9, 2005

Moved
Moved from Raspberry Bud Dagger Moth - Hodges # 9249.

Well that would certainly make sense. I found the caterpillar more than once in the same area.

Mistaken ID?
Not quite sure why this got called inclara (sic) and was placed under increta. Looks like afflicta to me.

Moved
Moved from Dagger Moths. Thanks Bob!

Looks Like 9249 - Acronicta increta.....
9250 - A. inclara has been synonymized under it.
