extorris vs schaefferi?
Cali beetle dbase lists 5 spp., of which i know, and can rule out, three [all non-native]

I agree, the three non-native spp.
look very different.
I'm not really familiar with these, but C. schaefferi has blue elytra and dark legs, so probably extorris. I'll put this on my list of things to look at.
