Assassin Bug - Pselliopus cinctus

Assassin Bug - Pselliopus cinctus
Greenville, Providence County, Rhode Island, USA
October 10, 2009
Size: ~ 1/4"
This was on a Montauk Daisy bush, which is a hardy variety that blooms late, in October. This tiny bug haltingly moved its way to the underside of one of the flowers. The temperature the night before went down to 37〬F. I'm guessing some kind of Assassin Bug, but have no idea if it's an adult, nymph or something else. Very colorful!
