Ega sallei
Hello all,
In Erwin TL, Zamorano LS (2014) A synopsis of the Tribe Lachnophorini, with a new genus of Neotropical distribution and a revision of the Neotropical genus Asklepia Liebke 1938 (Insecta: Coleoptera: Carabidae). ZooKeys 430: 1-108, this species was restored to the genus Ega. Calybe (with 8 described species) is quite different and doesn't occur in the USA. Apparently, George Ball has specimens from northern Mexico (not yet seen by LSZ and me), however, in current literature the northern most record is Nicaragua.

The two Calybe species in USA moved to genus Ega
at the post-2012 caraboid registry. Thank you Terry for alerting us to this outstanding revisionary work.

Thanks for your help and the compliment. I've saved the pdf file for Ega for reference.
