Black Caterpillar with yellow spots - Papilio polyxenes

Black Caterpillar with yellow spots - Papilio polyxenes
Jim Thorpe, PA 18229, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, USA
October 9, 2005
Size: 1 inch approx.
It's shedding it's skin right now-after I took this-and now it's got orange horns that pop out when it's annoyed but it's not much bigger. I'll take photos when it's done shedding.
