Looks good. The orientation is slightly off, but the palp is also a pretty good match to Paquin's drawing (2003). BTW, the species is now "Mermessus tridentatus (Emerton, 1882)" -- or has it changed back already?

Yes, I'd also like to see a dorsal and/or lateral view -- whichever is most interesting.

Not a big thing, but the palpal images are easier to compare in a "tibia down" orientation as this is how it is shown in most (all?) of the literature (but I'll take them anyway we can get them here).

I am somewhat "stuck" with whatever orientation the specimen decides to present to me. I am lucky if some of these don't just float out of the field of view entirely! Did not know of the genus change, but very much appreciate the update, thank you. Now I can look for the females using the proper name:-)

but it's very easy to rotate the image after you take it. I've done this one for you.

Are these two shots of the same specimen? I don't suppose you took a regular dorsal shot as well?

Quick and dirty...

Actually, the specimen was in horrible condition, as most of these are from the pitfalls, as washing them from the antifreeze and transferring them to alcohol takes its toll. I have lots of spiders without abdomens....Thank you for the compliment, though:-) Yes, these are of the same specimen.
