Green aphids on sow thistle

Size: Aphids ~1mm or less
I collected these aphids to feed the lady beetle larva, so they're not at the center of any photos. You can see them on the sides, though.

Plant: Sow thistle, Sonchus species. Not a true thistle.

Sonchus
The genus for sow-thistles is Sonchus; a view of the stem would be needed to differentiate the three common species.
