Spider--Cybaeus? - Cybaeus
Long Ridge OSP, Santa Clara County, California, USA
October 17, 2009
Size: BL 10-12mm
Found 1.5 hours after sunset hanging head down on a mossy trailbank. (Turret spiders of various sizes were also at the top of their turrets.) I couldn't see all the eyes, but what I could see were two rows, two eyes top and four bottom, roughly the same size. It was happy to run into a hole after we looked at it.
