Not sure what just happened
I just added a comment and then removed it only to see you moved the image. Anyway this is now solomoni at BOLD.

DNA update
This specimen is now shown here: BOLD as lateral image MDOK-1976

Mompha solomoni
This looks more like Mompha solomoni (Wagner et al. 2004, Proc. Entomol. Soc. Wash. 106: 1-18) than like M. cephalonthiella. M. solomoni is not listed in the BOLD taxonomy browser; apparently, it has not yet been barcoded. These two species probably are closely related, which would be the reason that, at present, M. cephalonthiella is the closest match in the barcode database for the moth in this photo.

Thanks
I will pass your information to the staff at the U. of Guelph.

Thanks
Also, the identity of this moth can be determined immediately and unequivocally via dissection, because M. cephalonthiella and M. solomoni are abundantly different on genital morphology in both genders. See the original description of M. solomoni, or, alternatively, visit here.
