Mating Tipulids - Tipula paludosa - Male Female
Enumclaw, Forested Unincorporated King County, Washington, USA

I thought this was a neat shot of mating Crane Flies. I don't know what species though.

Moved
Moved from Tipulomorpha.

Mating pair
of Tipula species , and most likely Tipula paludosa . Need take a look of the underneath side of the head to be sure. - Chen

Thank you, Chen
I will keep that in mind next time I photograph a Crane Fly (the underside of the head). That is a really nice site that you linked to. You are a very good illustrator, too.

Moved
Moved from ID Request. My guess is Tipula.
