Need help with this beetle - Hoplia dispar
Between Twin Lakes and Barney Lake, Mono County, California, USA
June 25, 2008
Size: 7-8 mm
These guys were all over these flowers in the meadow, but stayed out of the Alder stand next to the meadow. Found about 6000-7000 feet elevation. Twin Lakes is near Bridgeport CA on the east slope of the Sierras, just over the ridge from Yosemite.
