Typhlocyba saffrana? - Ribautiana tenerrima

Typhlocyba saffrana? - Ribautiana tenerrima
Scarborough Brook Conservation Area, Belchertown, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA
October 7, 2009
On speckled alder. The hosts listed for this species on the guide page are elm, hophornbeam, and beech, but here is another one that was found on alder:

Since the known hosts are in three different families, I suppose an additional host in one of those families wouldn't be too surprising.

Moved
Moved from Leafhoppers.

Ribautiana tenerrima
Differs from Typhlocyba in having black spots on the edge of the wing tips.

Black spots
I can't find any black spots on this that aren't on the Typhlocyba images, and this wasn't on Rubus, but I'll take your word for it.
