Moved
Moved from ,Laphria: Bee-like Robber Flies.

Not Laphria
The trick here is that two genera of robber flies often mimic bumble bees, Laphria and Mallophora. The tip of the antenna on Laphria is paddle shaped, the tip of the antenna on Mallophora has a thin style, as can be seen on this picture. This is Mallophora orcina.

Thanks!
Good info -- And, I will edit accordingly in my picture files and here.
