very late, but they were common in September
This is one of those Mormon Metalmark complex creatures. According to the treatment in the Pelham list, this would be
M. mejicanus
. I'm not sure if it is subspecies
mejicanus
, but expect so. Distinction from
M. virgulti
seems ill-defined to me, sort of a geographic thing.
Looks to be a girl to me.
