Spider found in barn - Araneus marmoreus

Spider found in barn - Araneus marmoreus
Manito, Mason County, Illinois, USA
October 29, 2009
Size: Quarter
Found in the barn. It has been a cold October, temps in the low 30s at night and 50s during day. Also rainy. Web is tunnel shaped where the specimen rests, but overall web is about 3 feet in diameter and is very intricate, like a garden spider's.
