Aha! Finally a good image of a male eastern yellowjacket, Vespula maculifrons. The others have a different mark on the first tergite, which could either be a variation of this species or a different species.

I'm glad there's finally a good photo of that species male now ^_^

what do you or anyone think the other 2 are-I looked at the markings on the first tergite-that's why I caught and submitted them together.

I haven't noticed males of other species-nor more than that one queen Vespula_vidua could they be males of that species?
