These are difficult sometimes.
To me it looks like
Eurema daira
. The markings are more like that species, being less "crisp" looking and with that characteristic brownish line on the hind wing.

I do not know much about these, but you are right. It does look a lot more like the Euema daira! hmmmm.

looks like a Mimosa Yellow butterfly
They are in south Texas and south Florida, and yours would be the first in the guide for Florida. Check out the others in the
