This is a neat weevil--I love the dimples.

Edit: I note this was taken near a cave. One reference I see (here--PDF) mentions that at least one species is cave-dwelling (troglobitic), and eyeless. I note that this one has small eyes. I wonder if this could be part-time cave-dweller as well.

 
Near a cave
but not in one. In leaf litter around limestone outcroppings. This is not a typical Florida habitat but much more like Appalachian (without the mountains).
