Weevil - Ericydeus lautus

Weevil - Ericydeus lautus

I want to say that this is a weevil of some sort but I am unable to find a guide to weevils that show this little insect. He is clinging to the very tip of a twig on a bush. Help to identify it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Broad-nosed Weevil
According to a friend of mine, who is much more knowledgeable than me, this is one of the broad-nosed weevils, subfamily Otiorhynchinae. Someone else will have to get it to genus and species.

Thanks -
Terry, thanks for your help. I thought he was a handsome little weevil. I appreciate your responding. They must be a tough group that nobody has come up with the genus yet. I will keep looking. Thanks again.

Both:-)
Weevils ARE beetles (not shouting, just changing voice). This is a lovely image, and someone should be able to ID it further eventually.

Thanks for the compliment, Er
Thanks for the compliment, Eric. By the way, I do understand that weevils are beetles. I didn't word my comment very well. Thanks again.
