Nymph on goldenrod -
Perillus
Pennypack Restoration Trust, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA

. . .
It looks like the ones identified in the guide as two-spotted stink bugs. But, the two-spotted stink bug feeds on potato beetles and hangs around mostly around potato plants. This one was found on goldenrod.
P. circumcinctus
feeds on insects that feed on bidens and goldenrods according to
this paper
.
It makes me wonder about all the IDs in the guide, especially the one eating a lady bug.
