ID for Bee in California? - Anthophorula - Female
Webb Canyon, ~2000 ft. elevation, Los Angeles County, California, USA
May 22, 2009
Size: ~6 mm
Rescued from the pool, and unfortunately still a bit soggy-looking... but these are the only photos I have. (Some bees manage to fly off long before they are completely dry.) Hopefully it won't interfere too much in making a positive ID. I would love to know more about this little one!

Surrounding habitat is chaparral and mixed oak woodland.
