Remarks
Palearctic species introduced in NA to control the European wheat stem-sawfly (Cephus pygmaeus; despite repeated attempts to establish it in w. Canada in the 1930's on the native Cephus cinctus, it apparently no longer occurs there(1); the 1935-1940 introductions into the ne. NA to control Cephus pygmaeus were successful and the species is considered established.(2)
