Neophyllaphis podocarpi (Podocarpus Aphid)

Sweet!
You have made my day. Oh, the many plants to search for lady beetle chow next year...

And I'll try to photograph more of them before feeding them to the beetles, too :-)

Additions
Fabaceae--Some of my bean vines, Phaseolus vulgaris, had severe infestations of black aphids.
These black ones also like chard, especially red chard.

Pittosporum--more than one kind:

Thanks...
My plan is to go through all the unidentified aphids from oldest to newest. I haven't even begun that process yet, so there is no need to post new additions here at this point.

I would very much appreciate it, however, if people will post to this forum as new aphid guide pages are added. I happened to be subscribed to both of the images that have just been identified as Drepanaphis species, so I've incorporated them here, but I don't know if there are others that have slipped by me.

got it
will keep you au courant -- or perhaps just notify you of whatever novitates popping up so you can make the pages as you see fit

Sure
Either way is fine.

you may also want to go here to check Beatriz's 2:27pm comment on the subject unrelated to the thread topic [and my reply] -- just to see that the situation in the aphid section concerns many pillars of this community :)))

EDT or AST?
I take it you haven't changed your timezone settings to reflect the end of daylight savings time (this comment posted 9:56 PST)

Super!
Great work! It should be very helpful. You will live to regret it though; you will have to keep updating this and adding more, like me with my non-native species. There are over a thousand more to add, ha, ha, ha!
The images are nice, but in the long run it may be more practical to just put links to the info pages, for instance Aphis nerii.
We will have to keep an eye on this one found on common milkweed but so far unidentified.

Milkweed aphid
I had hoped my comment here would lead to a possible ID for that aphid, but no response so far.

Very nice
this should prove very helpful. Thanks!

great Beitrag -- thanks!
