Well, I think this is another firefly. Looks quite odd and distinctive, so maybe I can find it in Dillon and Dillon, which I left at my office. Perhaps Troy will find it before I do.

V J Hickey...found his picture in Georgetown Univ data base, The Biodiversity data base of the Washington DC area and environs. Some excellent images in Insecta section. 03a is Lampyridae, genus Ellychnia. The data base is remarkable, and includes everything living, flora & fauna. http://biodiversity.georgetown.edu
