Egg parasites? - Heliothrips haemorrhoidalis

Egg parasites? - Heliothrips haemorrhoidalis
Alameda County, California, USA
November 11, 2009
These eggs have been on a blackberry leaf for weeks and shown no change until today. They looked like tiny gold beads covered with a slight amount of webbing. Except for their color, they resembled other eggs (brown ones) known to produce geometrid larvae. Today, something else hatched out. I didn't see moth larvae nearby.

The egg cluster is 1/4 inch (6 mm) across and is on the upper surface of a leaf.

is it possible that the caterpillers did hatch
and these tiny things are scavenging whats left in the shells.. cause i see one facing in like it is feeding inside? some of the eggshells appear to have been partially eaten and also the escape holes are right for cats to have emerged..but then i am just a dummy and learning and not an expert ill like to hear from them.

I don't know
Something hatched overnight. I wish I'd got there a few hours earlier. Some eggs appear to contain caterpillars, like the one nearest the center and another one to its right and up a little, but this might be reflections. It was overcast yesterday morning and I couldn't get a clear photo, not enough light for tiny objects.

When geometrids hatched from eggs like these but brown, they didn't disperse so fast. Most of the group stayed near the eggs longer. I didn't find loopers on this leaf or near it.

Another thing--the yellow insects are different sizes. A small one is near the top.
