Moved from Stenolemus spiniventris.

Stenolemus spiniventris Signoret
This species and S. lanipes are the only two in the United States with a pedunculate pronotum. This specimen is sufficiently distinct in hemelytral color pattern from the images of the southeastern S. lanipes in the Guide. Furthermore, S. spiniventris is known from Cameron County, Texas(1).

Moved from Stenolemus.

not spiniventris? prob. something new to fauna
i found this specimen, plus two from Hidalgo Co that key out nicely to spiniventris indeed -- but this one does not (scutellar spines thin & acute), and has those cute leg-warmers absent in what seem to be real spiniventris; i'll get back to it shortly

ha! sweet...
