Too bad that nobody has answered you yet. Let us move it to Ichneumonidae. Maybe somebody will see it there and try to ID it.

 
It's okay-no one answered quite a few I out on lately-not just t
I think becasue there are some many-and we don't have an icheumon expert- we have to just - say-yes it's an Ichneumon and live with that.

I found one the other day-that was totally different than any I saw before-and darned if I could catch it!!

seems cold for that sort of thing too. it's been staying in the 40s and 50s-are they more active in coller weaterh-I noted that many come out at dusk.
