Eating cactus, when it noticed me, it fell to the ground, legs outstretched, and played dead. Around 7mm.

Host plant is key!
It can almost only be Gerstaeckeria fasciata! Neat shots! There have been studies on this genus, but no images exist on the internet to compare to!
