I see that BugGuide is expanding to include freshwater crustaceans, which happen to be something I work with quite a lot. I figured I'd start adding some images, starting with this one, the Spiny Water Flea (Bythotrephes longimanus), an invasive Cladoceran.

...which immediately raises another Q: is long as you work with them, would you consider becoming an editor to curate the crustacean section?

sure, that would be more convenient than posting in the forums every time I want to add a new species. I will be focusing more on planktonic species rather than macroinverts, but I have some knowledge of crayfish, amphipods, and those kinds of things too.
