Found in flower of Turricula parryi.
Note the carinate ridge at the top back of the head (weakly visible in photo, but compared with identified specimens at Cal State Northridge), diagnostic for this green Osmia (acc. to Robbin Thorp, UC Davis - pers. comm.- this character is shared with another, slightly larger, dark blue species).
