Large Milkweed Bug Molting - Oncopeltus fasciatus

This Large Milkweed Bug is molting from its last instar to the adult form. I found it halfway through the process. I took several dozen images; a few are presented here to show the progress. Note the pale colors of the new skin. (Another of my images shows both the new and an older adult
