a large amount of these were
a large amount of these were found on a vinyl fence / ground. The temps are around freezing here at night, and 50's in the day when these were found.

It might be
the Giant Willow Aphid, but I don't know these well enough to get beyond the subfamily level. Maybe someone else that knows aphids better will comment.
