Aphids - Aphis fabae - female

Aphids - Aphis fabae - Female
Willow Grove, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA
May 28, 2008
Interesting looking aphids. I will have to take better pictures next year and to make sure that I know the plant.
The host plant seems to be Euonymus (John Pearson det.), which is the primary (winter) host of this species.
