Small Geometrid - Leptostales pannaria

Small Geometrid - Leptostales pannaria
Greenwood County, South Carolina, USA
October 21, 2005
Size: 22mm wingspan
Attacted to lights on my porch.

Not sure of where this one belongs after browsing MPG and BugGuide.

Moved
Moved from Leptostales.

Looks like
a Leptostales, either pannaria or crossii (#7173, #7174)

Leptostales
Thanks Tony.

L. pannaria caught my eye too, but the specimen in the only MPG live picture is worn, so I wasn't sure. The MPG live photo for L. crossii looks more boldly patterned than mine. The MPG pinned images of these don't really clear it up either.

I wonder if Bob Patterson is back from vacation yet?

He's kinda back :-))
Looks like L. pannaria to me. Just one little caveat -- I have not seen specimens of 7176 L. rubrotincta and don't know its range or appearance.

How about this one?
I think this is a member of the same genus:

It looks real similar to me, but of course, I've been wrong before.
