Eristalis transversa (note spelling), I think
I sometimes have problems reviewing pinned specimens, and this is a good case. I'm looking for a striped thorax - medium gray and black. There is one other post here with a thorax much like this, but no pinned specimens for comparison. Does anyone else have a comment?
