Lepidoptera Larvae - Hemileuca hera
Strawberry Reservoir , Wasatch County, Utah, USA
June 9, 2005
Camping at Strawberry Reservoir and saw these larvae on Big Sagebrush
(Artemisia tridentata).

Just based on the host plant
Hemileuca hera might be a possibility

I agree
H. hera is the only Hemileuca sp. found in Utah that feeds on that hostplant, and H. hera has been found in this county as well.
