Androlyperus fulvus - Male
Along SR-198, near Monterey Co. line, Fresno County, California, USA
June 6, 2008
Visiting Salvia leucophylla.
Note the slightly serrate antennae of male (female antennae are more slender). The modification of the rear side of the elytra is diagnostic for males of this genus.
