Bolbocerosoma lepidissimum Brown - Bolbocerosoma lepidissimum

Bolbocerosoma lepidissimum Brown - Bolbocerosoma lepidissimum
Camp Maxey National Guard, Powderly, Lamar County, Texas, USA
May 19, 2004
Det. A.D. Smith 2003

coll'ed by J.C. Abbott (#2018) & Field Ento. Class

spmn in the UTIC, Austin, TX

ID questionable
According Howden (1957), lepidissimum should have the pronotum less densely punctured than pusillum.
I cannot see anything in this specimen contradicting it belongs to pusillum, as did the male "lepidissimum" on BG.
