Size: 1/2 inch to 3/4
Found next to exterior light. Discovered just before dawn. Brown with reddish orange hues, looks like it has a saddled. Calm. Not afraid of camera. Was gone once the sun rose. I looked at dantana, but nothing looks quite the same to me.

Not an expert, but maybe this is something like a Pink-washed Looper (Enigmogramma basigera).
