Rhyssemus puncticollis Brown
R. puncticollis was resurrected a few years ago (Byk & Minkina 2014) after it was introduced from the US into Europe. SO, what we had as a synonym of a European species (R. germanus) turned out to be a native species that is now introduced into Europe!! Ain't taxonomy grand!!

Moved
Moved from Rhyssemus germanus.

The stripes on the thorax are impressive...
^^

looks
sort of like a Shar-Pei.
