Female...
This is the only photo we have so far showing the female's pollen-carrying hairs of the ventral abdomen (scopa) loaded with yellow pollen. When the scopa is completely loaded with yellow pollen, the contrast with the shiny black upper abdomen is quite distinctive and striking.
