Spelling change
To those of you with editor status,

I don't know where it started...but schaumii should actually be spelled 'schaumi' - I realize I've been perpetuating this improper spelling and I apologize

Thanks, Adam.

Moved
Moved from Beetles.

Actually Staphylininae
This is a very neat photo of Diochus schaumii, often collected from wet debris - so weird to find out this was in a house! The pronotal shape and its relative flatness is what first tipped me off - I was thinking of something Lobrathium-like (would make more sense in a house). Do you have any more photos of the couple together??

Cheers,

Adam

Thanks! - photo added...
it was hard to get a shot with both of them in focus. No idea how they got there--the plant was up on its own shelf, 4-5 feet off the floor and away from any other plants.

Paederinae...
that's as far as I can go :)
