small-head, bug-eyed, wrinkled-pronotum rove - Omalium rivulare

small-head, bug-eyed, wrinkled-pronotum rove - Omalium rivulare
Windham, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, USA
October 26, 2005
Size: 4 mm
Apparently flew and landed in low 40 degrees F on piece of vinyl siding I was holding. Small head, bugged-out eyes and sculptured pronotum seemed to me unusual characteristics for a rove beetle.
