Pseudo Scorp? - Eremobates

Pseudo Scorp? - Eremobates
California, USA

Moved

Moved
Moved from Wind Scorpions.

Male Eremobates
This is definitely an adult male from looking at the fixed finger of the chelicerae (no teeth on the fixed finger), and the small spur on the proximal margin of the fixed finger is a sure indicator that this specimen is in the genus Eremobates (Banks 1900) probably in the Eremobates palpisetulosus species-group (Muma 1951).

Solifugae
That bug is far too large for a pseudo scorpion. I'd say a better guess would be a Wind Scorpion (or Sun Spider). They're awesome little hunters.
