According to info pages, hess
According to info pages, hessei has dense black setae, whereas here, I think the area with black setae has intermixed pale setae.

Lordotus?
Reminds me of Lordotus. I took a couple similar specimens off of rabbitbrush (Chrysothamnus) near Tucson last month. Cute fuzzies:-)
