Temnothorax sp - worker
One of the wholly light-colored species, maybe L. curvispinosus.
Thank you for sharing these breathtaking shots.
Maybe I should add that the larva doesn't belong to the same species, because Myrmicine ant larvae don't spin any cocoon for their pupation.

Appreciate the ID and kind words. I figured the cocoon was just prey being dragged to a more secure location.
