Found on a Hemlock tree in our yard. I guess May IS officially here.

Life stage: imago
Sex: male
Common name: Early Brown Spinner

Middle tail is much weaker, and slightly less than half as long as the outer two. Fore legs are dark, middle and hind legs are light. Fore wings are hyaline, lightly washed w/brown in stigmatic area.

I don't know much on mayflies, so your help is reeeeeally appreciated:)

Ephemerella NOT
"A male imago of Ephemerella (subgenus Drunella) (Ephemerellidae: Ephemerellinae)". Missed this one by a long shot, the length of the front legs should have been the tip off. Sorry 'bout that.
